Import And Export Manager

1. Shipment Coordination:
   
• Manage end-to-end shipment processes, including import/export documentation, customs clearance, and transportation.
• Plan and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery to clients or internal stakeholders.
2. Vendor and Carrier Management:
   
• Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve any service-related issues.
3. Inventory and Warehouse Oversight:
   
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Optimize storage and transportation to minimize costs while maintaining service levels.
4. Supply Chain Optimization:
   
• Analyze logistics data to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
• Implement technology solutions for shipment tracking and reporting.
5. Compliance and Safety:
   
• Ensure adherence to local and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and related documentation.
6. Team Leadership:
   
• Lead and train the logistics team to handle shipment processes effectively.
• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on shipment handling.
• Proven expertise in managing international and domestic shipping processes.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, customs processes, and freight systems.
• Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, TMS, WMS).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
