Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Business Development:
   
• Identify and target potential clients in industries like manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and more.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales goals and objectives.
2. Client Relationship Management:
   
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their automation requirements and proposing suitable solutions.
3. Solution Selling:
   
• Present, promote, and sell automation products, systems, and services (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, robots, sensors, etc.).
• Customize solutions based on clients technical and operational requirements.
4. Market Analysis:
   
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the automation sector.
• Provide insights to the product and marketing teams for strategy development.
5. Proposal and Negotiation:
   
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively while maintaining profitability.
6. Collaboration:
   
• Work closely with internal teams, including technical, engineering, and after-sales, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Provide feedback to improve product offerings and customer service.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics) or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales within the automation industry.
• Strong understanding of automation products and solutions (e.g., robotics, industrial IoT, AI/ML applications).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to travel as required.
