Territory Manager should be able to manages sales within his defined regional territory. The Territory Manager is responsible for achieving sales revenue through generating orders through clinical/operating room selling of the ENT products representing the organization in accordance with its policies.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • To execute strategic sales activities undertaken as part of a Business Planning model
  • To provide surgical coverage, follow-up support and troubleshooting for ENT therapy
  • To provide product and therapy training and education to new and existing centers.
  • To leverage customer contact at implant to grow the existing business/accounts
  • To achieve territory growth targets for specified therapies by initiating and developing key implanters, implant centers, referral networks and educating patient influencers / support groups.
  • To ensure that the Company s agreed quality standards are maintained with regard to its products, procedures, policies, operations and customer contact
  • Provide surgical case coverage, follow-up support and troubleshooting for all ENT therapies in the assigned Territory
  • Conduct customer in-services for new and existing accounts
  • Conduct required training for new accounts on all therapies
  • Sell specified therapies to physicians, institutions, payers and other medical staff
  • Develop relationships with physicians and hospital administration staff to ensure both clinical and non-clinical needs are identified and met
  • Work with existing key implant centers to develop and implement strategies to move accounts towards technical self-sufficiency.
  • Support DBS cases along with the implanters and provide adequate training and troubleshooting help at the time of live cases.
  • Gather and communicate input from field to management regarding market trends, customer satisfaction, competition, and product issues
  • Develop ethical, positive long-term customer relationships
  • Demonstrate a responsible attitude towards expense management
  • Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor in / Engineering / Science
  • MBA in Sales and Marketing
  • Minimum 3-6 yrs sales experience in Concept Selling/ Medical Devices Selling is Mandatory
  • Experience of Distribution Management
  • Willing to travel extensively 80%
  • Nice to Have
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, with focused People/Customer/Result orientation. Strong grasp on the market a and understanding around the complexities, competition, customer preferences etc Ability to prioritize and execute as per the needs of the business and the current set of challenges Strong analytical skills (to understand local markets and customer needs) in order to develop region specific plans, strategies and tactics. Ability to quickly revector and improvise the business model if the current model is not yielding desired results
SALES PROFESSIONAL CAREER STREAM: Typically sales professional individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May direct the work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and closing sales. DIFFERENTIATING FACTORS Autonomy: Established and productive sales professional managing multiple small to mid-size accounts.
Sells products and/or services to a group of clients and identifies new and potential customers.
Works independently with general supervision .
Builds relationships. Organizational Impact: Works to achieve individual sales targets within product area and/or account by selling products/ services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.
Has a direct impact on achieving department s sales results.
May help to set objectives or goals for individual or team accounts .
Works on larger, moderately complex accounts or have a small or medium-sized quota/territory.
Understands market landscape, marketing and pricing structure, more influence on pricing structures.
Works with sales, marketing and finance to structure complex contracts. Innovation and Complexity: Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in sales processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.
Recommends changes in account tactics to achieve sales goals .
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Communication and Influence: May influence parties within own job function at an operational level.
Obtains or provides information requiring some explanation or interpretation .
Communicates with external customers and / or vendors, involving negotiation and / or presentations in order to manage relationships and close sales. Leadership and Talent Management: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
May provide guidance and assistance to entry level sales professionals and / or support employees.
