Gynaecologist

We are looking for a full time Gynaecologist to work with us in Barabanki district of UP.

Details about work location and timings:

Five clinics, each at the block town level, will be made operational in Barabanki district in the last week of January 2025. You will be required to work out of these clinics on a fixed day of the week in each Clinic, therefore serving out of all these five clinics at least once a week. The Clinic will be appropriately equipped to facilitate your work. Each Clinic will be operational for 8 hours a day from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm with suitable lunch and refreshment breaks. The attached pharmacy and other support services may remain open until later in the evening.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out diagnose, treatment and required OPD or day care procedures, getting required pathological tests done inhouse for all patients and guiding and treating female patients on various conditions and diseases that affect women's health, advising patients on various health issues and suitable birth control options, coping with symptoms of menopause and perimenopause, educating patients on reproductive health issues and disease prevention, refer patients for surgeries, in patient needs, and any diagnostic and radiological tests not conducted in-house in the Clinic to MedoPlus partner hospitals and labs, conduct camps at village level, conduct webinars, and provide video and tele-consultations as needed while maintaining required patient health information confidentiality. All diagnoses, prescriptions, and procedures carried out will be inputted on the MedoPlus App for any further use by the patient and treating doctors as part of patient specific health information.

Requirements:

• MBBS or higher degree supplemented with a degree/diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology with appropriate license to practice as a gynaecologist
• 3 -5 years experience practicing as a gynaecologist
• Female doctor preferred
• A pleasant and compassionate personality with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and be a team player
• Will require extensive travel in the region
• Enthusiasm for Working in Rural Health Settings
• Preferred: Candidates with access to their own car for easy travel between clinics and community visits.
