Server Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot complex issues on Windows/Linux servers.
• Install patches, updates, and perform regular server maintenance.
• Document existing and planned server infrastructure.
• Assist in technical design, improvements, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with IT teams (support, network, security, architecture).
• Optimize server resources and recommend necessary upgrades.

Requirements:

• Fluent English.
• Experience with Windows/Linux server administration (2016/2019).
• Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Basic to intermediate Linux knowledge (Red Hat/Ubuntu) is a plus.
• Familiarity with backup, web filtering, and cloud technologies (AWS, Google, Microsoft) is an advantage.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, topologies).
• Problem-solving skills (troubleshooting, root cause analysis).
• ITIL knowledge/certification is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and in cross-cultural teams.
• Experience with Bash and PowerShell scripting.
