Packaging Executive For a Healthcare and Herbal Cosmetic Company

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1 Generating new packaging products in response to briefs

2 Identifying feasible & suitable packaging formats as per briefs

3 Identify / develop packaging materials with identified suppliers as per briefs

4 Producing samples to try out different materials and designs

5 Validate Packaging Materials/ new packaging concepts on existing machineries

6 Develop and finalize specification for packaging material

7 Ensuring that packaging meet set requirements and specifications as per legal guidelines

8 Conduct trials to check packaging for suitability and testing for performance under various

conditions

9 Develop KLD(Key Line Diagram) and artworks for all packaging formats.

10 Support packaging stability studies along with R&D.

11 Controlling production and quality standards for packaging material.

12 Coordinating with internal stakeholders like Marketing, Quality, Engg & SCM for various

projects & NPDs

13 Work closely with identified vendors on process improvement to ensure first time right

quality

14 Keeping up to date with technological innovations

15 Target to optmize / reduce annual packaging cost

16 Packaging and Graphic design in all aspects of Packaging development from concept to

implementation, with focus on innovation, system setting and sustainability

17 Getting ready with the complete input material for bulk printing and standardization

18 Co-ordinating with designer, vendors and working out the right artworks

19 Co-ordinating with all vendors/ Developers/Designers on all aspects of Packaging

development

20 Working on long term projects and support with knowledge on key aspects like

sustainability, cost reduction etc.

21 Packaging material development for all type of packaging - laminate, carton,label sleeve,

bottle, caps, containers etc

22 Material Validation with Machine trial and Transit trial

23 Issuing packaging Material specification to relevant internal and external stakeholders

24 Worked on complete process flow of generation and development of artwork including

issuing of key line drawing, shade card approval under permissible limits

25 Handling Quality Complaints in all PM and giving solutions for the same.

26 Dealing with Vendors for material planning and execution of first order.
