Automation Engineer

Job Title : Engineer Automation.

Reports to : The Engineer- Automation will report to the Manager Automation.

Job Overview :.
A plant automation engineer may also be in charge of installing an automation machine and making sure that all machines are operating correctly. If a machine breaks or there is a problem, the plant automating engineer will need to fix it. Other responsibilities include training staff to use the machines, managing a team, making sure safety regulations are met and are up to date, as well as troubleshooting problems. He must have excellent computer skills and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities and Duties :

• Define critical and consumable spare parts lifetime.
• Identifies, communicates and manages on-going technical risk as related to equipment and process development.
• Supports the development of process work instructions, calibration and preventive maintenance schedules and Perform IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate status, risk and results.
• Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults.
• Diagnosing breakdown problems.
• Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly.
• Carrying out quality inspections on jobs.

• Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
• Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
• Working with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC).

Qualifications :

Education Level : Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience : 3-5 years experience as Engineer on Automation/Automatic Assembly machines preferably in medical device company..
