Job Description - Radiology Coding

Hiring for Certified Diagnostic Radiology Experienced Medical Coders (US Healthcare)

Certifications Required:

Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)

Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Coder (CIRCC)

Certification must be maintained as Active.

Experience:

1+ Years of experience in Radiology Coding.

Required Skills:

Candidate would be well rounded in and have extensive knowledge and understanding of

Radiology medical coding guidelines.

Good exposure in MIPS (Merit-based Incentive Payment System) & Contrast.

Expertise in Coding Diagnostic Radiology, Diagnostic Ultrasounds, Computed Tomography (CT)

and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Fluoroscopy and Breast Mammography.

Experience in coding tools like 3M and Encoder Pro application.

Experience with coding in Epic & Cerner and auto coding tools.

Assign appropriate diagnosis codes using ICD-10-CM code book in the Radiology charts.

Exceeds the productivity standards for Radiology Coding 500 charts per day with a minimum of

96% accuracy and as per turnaround time requirements.

Expertise in CPT-4, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.

Has strong critical thinking and analytical skills

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsRole & responsibilities
