Required Skills: -

We are hiring an experienced Inpatient DRG Coder to accurately assign Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) codes to hospital inpatient records. Analyze clinical documentation, apply ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes, and ensure compliance with coding guidelines. Collaborate with medical staff to clarify diagnoses and procedures for optimal coding. Stay informed about coding updates and maintain confidentiality. Relevant coding certification (CCS, RHIA, or RHIT) preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Review medical charts and documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and PCS codes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of codes assigned for complex inpatient cases.
• Communicate with Leads to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, regulations and ethical standards.
• Stay up to date with changes in coding systems and regulations.
• Comply with policies and procedures for patient confidentiality and data security.
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret medical records and coding guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Speciality: IPDRG
• Certified in AAPC/AHIMA: CPC, CIC, CCS, COC
• Work Location: Hyderabad/Chennai/Coimbatore (WFO)
• Mode of Interview: Virtual
• Exp: 1 to 5 Years (IPDRG)

Preferred: Immediate Joiners or short notice
