Oversee and lead the end-to-end production process for all media projects, including video, film, television, digital content, and other media formats.
Manage production schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Identify and resolve potential production challenges or delays.
Manage and lead the production team, including producers, coordinators, technical staff, and freelance crew, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Work closely with directors, producers, and creatives to ensure the production vision is executed smoothly while maintaining creative integrity and meeting business objectives.
Collaborate with other departments such as post-production, marketing, legal, and distribution to ensure all production requirements are met and content is ready for distribution on time.
Source and manage relationships with external vendors, freelancers, and talent, ensuring high standards and alignment with production goals.
Monitor and ensure that all media produced meets industry standards for quality, format, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., copyright, broadcasting standards).
Identify and mitigate risks associated with production, including logistical challenges, talent contracts, technical issues, and legal concerns.
Prepare and manage production budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-efficiency while maintaining high production values.
Continuously evaluate production workflows and implement improvements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall output.
Post-Production Coordination: Ensure smooth transition from production to post-production phases, with all necessary footage, materials, and technical requirements handed over in a timely manner.
Ensure that all productions adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and ethical guidelines, including environmental sustainability where applicable.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in specific media platform, e.g., film, TV series, digital media, branded content.
Familiarity with industry-standard production tools (e.g., Avid, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
Experience working with global teams and international productions.
Strong network of industry contacts, including freelance talent, vendors, and creative professionals.
Experience with post-production software, VFX, and sound design is a plus.
Bachelor s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field. (Master s or advanced degrees are a plus).
10+ years of experience in media production, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
Proven experience in managing complex media projects (film, television, digital, etc.) from pre-production to delivery.
In-depth knowledge of production techniques, video editing, post-production processes, and broadcasting standards.
Strong understanding of production technology, equipment, and software tools used in the media industry.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team through complex projects.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and resource management.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Deep understanding of the media landscape and emerging trends in digital content, streaming, and other new media platforms.
