Junior Medical Physicist-Nuclear Medicine

Role & responsibilities

• Performs/supervises daily quality checks of PET-CT, SPECT Gamma camera, measuring and radiation monitoring equipments. Assisting in analyzing the data.
• Assists in compliance requisite of NABH and JCI accreditation requirements.
• Performs Routine Nuclear medicine procedures, radiopharmaceutical preparations and dispensing of doses to the patients.
• Supervises hard copy and patient report preparation.
• Conducts Periodic radiation monitoring of different areas of Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT.
• Assists in preparation of records, reports, files and collecting necessary statistics.
• Looks after Radiation safety issues/radioisotope waste disposal /radiation safety program related to the department.
• Ensures use of Hospital information system in the department by all the technical employees.
• Manages Procurement of the radioisotopes and maintaining records and assisting in procurement of other consumable/non consumable items in the department.
• Any other duties given by the reporting manager.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate must be M.SC in Nuclear Medicine, Only M.SC in nuclear medicine is eligible to apply.

Experience Required--0 to 3 Yrs.
