Team Leader ( Nursing ) - Home Care

To lead the team of registered nurses and nursing aides in the provision of optimal quality nursing care within available resources, working internal rotation of shifts

• Serves as a member of the direct care team and leads the nursing team in gaining exceptional skills to provide evidence based comprehensive nursing care.
• Represents the staff in an assigned area in meeting, committees and serves as the first line for mitigating
• Responsible for serving as a mentor to new recruits and existing nurses, providing orientation, assisting with training and making recommendation.
• Ensures accuracy and completion of nursing documentation within the time frame.
• Maintain patient files as per MRD guidelines.
• Develops own knowledge base, ensuring practice is evidence based and contributes to the enhancement of patient care.
• Is a mentor /learning resources for learners/Junior staff.
• Actively participates in staff learning and development programs.
• Ensures effective and efficient use of all department resources.
• Maintains competence amongst the staff in the essential skills required for delivering care within the clinical area.
• Actively participates in the implementation of any change in practice within the clinical area.
• Provides leadership & direction to the staff in the areas assigned.
• Aligns everyone to the vision, mission of the department and Carry's out duties accordingly.
• Gears up everyone to achieve targets laid down.

Desired Candidate Profile \

GNM or BSC nursing with minimum 7 Years experience in Critical Care or As Nursing Team Leader
