Job Description:

Position: Senior PLC Programmer

Location: Ballabhgarh

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Siemens PLC Programmer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for our manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming Siemens PLCs, troubleshooting industrial control systems, and integrating hardware and software to optimize machine performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. PLC Programming:

• Develop and program Siemens PLC systems (e.g., S7-300, S7-1200, S7-1500) using TIA Portal or STEP 7.
• Create, modify, and debug ladder logic, function blocks, and structured text.

2. HMI/SCADA Integration:

• Design and configure HMIs (e.g., WinCC, TIA Portal HMI) for intuitive operator interfaces.
• Develop SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.

3. System Commissioning:

• Commission and test automation systems at the factory and customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation and commissioning.

4. System Design:

• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to define system architecture.
• Interpret electrical schematics and integrate I/O modules, sensors, and actuators.

5. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical support for existing Siemens PLC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve breakdown issues.

6. Documentation:

• Prepare detailed project documentation, including control logic, wiring diagrams, and operator manuals.
• Maintain version control of PLC programs and configurations.

7. Customer Interaction:

• Liaise with customers to understand automation requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Train customer staff on system operation and troubleshooting.

8. Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, including ISO, CE, and industry-specific regulations.

Key Qualifications:

1. Education:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in Siemens automation are a plus.

2. Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in programming Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens automation software (TIA Portal, STEP 7, WinCC).

3. Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., PROFIBUS, PROFINET, MODBUS).
• Familiarity with drives (e.g., SINAMICS), servo motors, and motion control.
• Understanding of PID control loops and process automation.

4. Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

5. Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning and customer support.
• Familiarity with other PLC brands (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) is a bonus.

Timing 9:00 am to 5:30pm

Working Days 6 days Working

Monday to Saturday.

Mode of Interview: Onsite Interview.

Salary: 3 LPA to 8 LPA (Negotiable)
