Job Description
- Domestic/International vendor/ supplier visit for inspection/discussions.
- Develop sourcing strategies and new vendor development; supplier quality for domestic as well as international EPC projects.
- New cost effective vendor development
- Assessment and shortlisting of vendors based on various criterions such as manufacturing capability, quality system, timely delivery, credit terms, etc.
- Negotiation with the vendors and contractors, getting the desired material in less than budgeted cost.
- Pre bid tie-ups and other tendering support.
- To work out strategies, tie-ups, JVs for winning orders.
- Ensure on-time supplies in less than budgeted costs.
- Increase profitability of projects through sourcing strategies.
- Ensure supply of quality products.
- Improve payment terms, DPOs.
- Evaluate credit worthiness of vendors.
- Ensure seamless communication and support to project execution teams.
- Knowledge of SAP MM, MS Office.
- Support to the order acquisition team during tendering stage for back up offers, supplier tie ups, joint ventures with parties meeting PQs etc.
- Techno-commercial evaluation and comparison of offers of different suppliers and preparing the Purchase Proposal and LOI/Purchase Order as per requirement.
