Key skills for the job
Role & responsibilities
1. Setup and validate internal controls for an existing business processes.
2. Conduct internal audit reviews across departments in corporate office, business units, warehouse, Stock audit, retail audits, IT reviews and close gaps with respective business leaders.
3. Drafting and revising Standard Operating procedures basis current practice and closure post discussion with Key stake holders.
4. Identify relevant risks, process mapping identifying process-level controls and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) .
5. Document the results of audit, including internal control weakness and/or improvement opportunities.
6. Adherence of Internal Audit calendar for tasks defined therein and preparing internal audit reports.
7. Follow up on Open audit points by preparation of Action tracker report and timely closure of the same.
8. Ensuring and Managing ICFR and related compliances.
Preferred candidate profile
1. A person with Retail & Manufacturing Industry background or have an experience working in retail (manufacturing industry experience is mandatory).
2. The candidate with strong IT, business, finance, inventory audit related background will be preferred.
3. Proficient in report writing and presenting to the stakeholders and management.
4. Must be a problem solver and be able to work independently.
5. Team player as the role demands cross collaboration across different business units.
6. Understanding of SOPs for Order to Cash, Procurement, Inventory Management, Accounting, Logistics. Ability to identify gaps.
7. Basic Knowledge of GST, Income Tax, Compliances required in manufacturing companies.
