Patent Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Should have a thorough knowledge of patent searches and landscape studies.
  
• Should have a thorough knowledge of all free patent/NPL databases and at least two patent databases.
  
• Should have a thorough knowledge of the requirements of all types of searches.
  
• Should be able to handle patentability/invalidation/FTO/infringement searches independently.
  
• Should be able to train/review junior analysts' work.
  
• Should have a thorough knowledge of landscape studies and be able to handle the project independently from search string formulation to report generation.
  
• Should be able to provide patentability opinions to the clients based on the identified prior art references.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

B.E./M.E in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical or other related branches
Experience: 3+ years

Skills Sets:

• Candidates having more than 1 year experience in IP
  
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  
• Strong technical background and communication skills (written, spoken, comprehension)
