Machine Shop Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Optimize production efficiency
• Meeting the quality standard of product
• Breakdown reduction
• Reducing machine rejection
• Control department cost through effective resource allocation and implementation cost saving
• Adhere to all protocol and PPE
• Encourage kaizen practice in department
• Responsible for machine shop operations comply with safety and promote a culture of safety awareness (ISO 450001)
• Responsible to promote kaizen , 5s activities in department & periodic updating for HIRA aspect/impact analysis & resource requirements based on changes identification
• Responsible for consumables cost reduction in the machine shop
• Responsible for resource planning to adhere production plan
• Authorized for assign duties for the team and skill matrix

• Responsible for OEE in machine shop
• Authorized for conducting performance reviews
• Authorized for setting department goals
• Authorized for hiring the person for vacant positions in machine shop
