Senior Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and implement the strategic plan, Aligning with overall company Objective for production quality and effectiveness.
• Responsible for set goals and KPIs for HPDC team, Monitor progress targets are met or exceeded.
• Responsible for management system (IATF16949/ ISO 9001,ISO14001 & ISO 45001) implementation and maintaining in department.
• Responsible for oversee daily HPDC operation ensuring efficient machine utilization optimal cycle times and higher productivity
• Responsible for lead initiative to optimize the die design along with design team
• Responsible to review and analyze defect trends, conduct root cause analysis and oversee corrective and preventive action plans.
• Responsible for managing HPDC department budget and cost reduction strategies
• Responsible for machine shop operations comply with safety and promote a culture of safety awareness (ISO 450001)
• Responsible to promote Kaizen, SS activities in department & periodic updating for HIRA aspect / impact analysis & resource requirement based on changes identification.
• Responsible for conduct performance evaluation and implementation development plans for team members.
• Responsible for conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans for team members
• Responsible team member to adhere to safety protocol and industry best practices
• Authorize to manage the department budget and allocation resources, including manpower , equipment and material.
• Authorize for hiring, training, evaluating team member rating or performance review etc
• Authorize for setting department goals
• Authorized for the leave approval of machine shop team (production)
• Accountable for meeting production target maintaining cycle time
• Accountable to achieving and maintaining high quality casting standard, minimizing defect, OEE of the shop etc.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in HPDC Ops.

• Knowledge about fettling shot blasting, vibro process, and trimming process etc.
• Knowledge about robot automation
• Knowledge about regulatory requirements
