Planning Manager
To oversee and manage the planning and scheduling of construction activities for our hospital projects.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of hospital construction, project management, and possess strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling:
Resource Allocation:
Budget & Cost Management:
Risk Management:
Coordination & Collaboration:
Coordinate with various teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and hospital stakeholders, to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
Ensure compliance with all relevant construction and healthcare regulations.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
Track project progress against the master plan and produce regular progress reports for senior management.
Use project management software (such as Primavera, MS Project, or similar) to monitor, update, and communicate the schedule.
Quality Assurance:
Work with the quality control team to ensure construction meets the required standards and specifications.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to the plan and timely issue resolution.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure that the project adheres to safety protocols, health regulations, and local construction laws.
Implement best practices in hospital construction to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in project planning, preferably in hospital or healthcare infrastructure construction.
Proven experience in managing large-scale hospital or healthcare-related construction projects.
