Role & responsibilities

• Shall carry out donor screening and motivation.
• Shall perform all laboratory related duties including phlebotomy and aphaeresis.
• Shall issue blood and components after proper grouping and cross matching.
• Shall ensure that analytical and post-analytical variables are precluded.
• Assists senior staff in the discharge of their responsibilities including release of routine test reports.
• Shall carry out daily and periodical maintenance of equipments under charge.
• Shall complete record files and registers.
• Shall follow safety precautions.
• Shall keep work place clean and uncluttered.
• To keep documents at their place after use.

Preferred candidate profile

BMLT/DMLT candidates with minimum 1 year of experience in Blood Bank of any NABH/JCI accredited hospital.
