Job description

• Extensive experience in product costing and accounting within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in in implementing effective costing systems and monitoring overheads for cost control and decision-making.
• Must have working experience in SAP S/4 HANA or SAP ECC 6.0
• Proficient in developing and implementing robust costing systems to accurately determine costs at different stages of operations.
• Skillfully implemented effective cost control strategies, monitoring various overheads to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Experience in standard and marginal costing principles to maintain cost discipline and support informed decision-making processes.
• Competence in preparing comprehensive cost reports through a meticulous review of cost sheets.
• In-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement in cost structures.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and information exchange.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure cost considerations were integrated into decision-making processes.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of evolving financial regulations to mitigate compliance risks.
• Monthly tracking, analysis, and reporting of product cost variances against targets, identifying risks and opportunities as communicated by other departments.
• Implementation of record-keeping practices to support audit requirements and enhance financial transparency.
• Must have played a crucial role in supporting the preparation of yearly budgets and rollover monthly forecasts.
• Standard cost calculation, Budget Preparation, Forecasting and product-wise profitability analysis.
• Preparation Variance analysis, and inventory valuation based on the weighted average price
• BOM routing process in SAP, & get the corrections from respective users if required.
• Preparation of the cost accounting manual and MIS reports for state-wise and product-wise profitability & MRP Pricing.
• Improve accuracy and efficiency in management reporting.
• Monthly profitability analysis, comparison of job works costing & in-house costing, and physical stock verification quarterly & annually.
• Yearly stock valuation, analysis of budgetary control, and calculation of ROI for new investments.
• Preparation of the budget of sales, RMC & other variable & fixed costs, along with monthly RMC reconciliation for profitability analysis.
• Monthly purchase consumption analysis and revenue analysis, resulting in improved cost control and decision-making.
• Product costing of all NPD parts, monthly contribution analysis, and part-wise RMC & other variable cost calculation for flash & MIS.
• Physical stock verification quarterly, maintenance of cost records yearly, and yearly stock valuation with overhead calculation.
• Must have performed effective cost control measures, resulting in improved profitability and cost management.
• Must have prepared and implemented monthly revenue & production budget, product costing & contribution analysis, and actual operating expenditure based on functional cost centers.
• Must have monitored and presented the estimated cost of sales to actual sales & contribution margin, along with reconciliation of main raw materials and manpower costing.
• Must have projected assumptions based on installed capacity, selling price, R.M consumption, and administrative expenses, along with the calculation of raw material cost and sensitivity analysis.
• Must have developed direct material consumption, variance analysis, and MIS reports, along with inventory reconciliation summary statements for financial control.
• Shall be a good Communicator with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
