Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preventive Maintenance:
   
• Perform scheduled maintenance on CNC VMC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of mechanical and electrical components.
• Inspect machine parts for wear and tear, replacing parts as necessary.
• Replace worn-out components like bearings, belts, ball screws, and linear guides.
• Check and calibrate machine tool alignments, ensuring precision and accuracy.
2. Troubleshooting & Repairs:
   
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in CNC VMC machines.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components such as motors, sensors, and controllers.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC software and control systems to ensure machine operation.
3. Machine Calibration & Alignment:
   
• Ensure machines are properly calibrated and aligned for optimal machining accuracy.
• Set up and verify machine parameters before production runs.

• Education: diploma mechanical or electrical or iti in Mechanical
• Experience: 1 to 4 years
  
• Minimum of [X] years of experience maintaining CNC machines, specifically VMCs.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing VMC machine controllers (e.g., Siemens, Fanuc, or Heidenheimer).
• Technical Skills:
  
• Expertise in CNC VMC machine components, systems, and controls.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including drives, motors, and bearings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and machine schematics.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators, and laser alignment tools).

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
