The Identity team resides within Mastercard s Services organization. Mastercard Identity provides a complete view of the consumer digital identity footprint and the digital patterns it makes throughout the online journey. Identity is instrumental in developing solutions that transform the way consumers are authenticated, and identity is verified.

The Financial Planning Analysis function manages all aspects of management reporting encompassing budgeting and forecasting, strategic and customer planning. This includes the management and execution of the corporate reporting and planning requirements.

Role:

The Senior Analyst manages all day-to-day aspects of the financial close process of Identity Solutions through the analysis of variances against budget, forecasts with key opportunities and risks to revenue, prior year actuals, key business drivers and initiatives. Review and provide thoughtful business driven commentary to respective management teams
Manage the development of the Identity Solutions annual plan/budget and forecast for scheduled cycle, partnering with stakeholders as necessary to align on budgeting inputs and assumptions. Ensure accurate data upload into Hyperion budgeting and forecasting tool
Manage, develop and update standardized financial reporting packages that will help drive and support the business, inclusive of business metrics/KPIs. Execute on financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modelling, particularly for sell-in portion of Identity business; review and create suggestions to financial systems. Also respond promptly to ad-hoc requests for information and analysis
Complete the main deliverables of the presentations and analysis for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and quarterly operating reviews (QORs), as well as ad hoc presentation
Support Mastercard strategic plans by providing relevant financial analytics and business insights to key stakeholders, while developing robust tracking mechanisms; partner with Operations teams to align on KPIs and
Apply strategic understanding of business dynamics and competitive forces in different markets and supporting business to formulate mitigating strategies
Execute on financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modeling; review and create suggestions to financial systems
Investigate and create opportunities for automation and more efficient methods of creation and delivery anticipating needs of internal customers, members, and other stakeholders
On top of FPA responsibilities will have the opportunity to assist other finance business partners across services
Drive special projects as they arise

All About you:

Educational qualification -Chartered Accountant or CPA or MBA Finance
Excellent finance skills including modelling and scenario analysis, budget, planning and forecast experience with at least 5 years work experience in Finance field
Good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and experience with financial systems/applications (e.g. Hyperion and Oracle)
Strong interpersonal, relationship management, communication, and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating in a team environment
Ability to perform successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities and assignments concurrently
Strong sense of urgency; excels in a deadline driven work environment
Ability to influence and drive effective decision making
Strong strategic thinking and business understanding
High intellect with good commercial acumen and a creative approach to problem solving
