Project Engineer/ Senior Project Engineer

Job Title:

Project Engineer/Sr. Project Engineer.

Department / Location: Ghansoli, Mahape Mumbai

Engineering Design & Documentation

• Obtain/assimilate relevant design input from Lead Engineer / Project Lead(PL) / Clients / Vendors at various project stages and incorporate in the deliverables;
• Preparation of design deliverables and documents as per user requirement specifications(URS);
• Prepare/Assist in documentation of Instrumentation Design/Control System Design(Hardware/Software)/Erection Hardware Design;
• Ensure appropriate checking & review of all documents/ drawings before release at any Revision status;

Project Building & Execution

• To program Control Systems as per URS and PRS;
• Assist in Panel Building;
• Ensure appropriate checking & review of all Software/Hardware deliverables
• Ensure prompt Coordination with the other co-workers, vendor interactions, checking and review of vendor documents;
• Ensure all deliverables including internal FAT are completed in predefined deadlines
• Document review tracker;
• Acts as a mentor for GETs as assigned by management.

Installation, Commissioning & Closure

• Assist in Instrumentation Hardware/Control System (Hardware/Software)/Erection Hardware
• Carry out all Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) including Installation & Operational Qualifications;
• To train the Customer Operator and Engineers
• To capture data and prepare As Build documents
• PTR or customers appreciation for self and Company.

Essential for Control System

• ISA codes & other international standards.
• Basics of SCADA, HMI, Logic Programming
• Various Rockwell Control Systems Like RS logix 500 /5000 FTV and others
• Basic Domain Knowledge towards Reactors and Distillation Units operational
• Other engineering activities such as Instrumentation Index, Logic diagrams, predation of MTO etc.
• Knowledge about prevailing engineering practices in Indian & international Market.
• Basics of Networking: device net, control net, Ethernet
• Panel Testing
• Software-AutoCAD, Micro Station, MS excel, MS word

Essential For Detail Engineering

• ISA codes & other international standards.
• Knowledge about prevailing engineering practices in Indian & international Market.
• Selection of Field instruments including Flow, Level, control valves, safety valves.
• Knowledge about materials selection for instrumentation
• Sizing of control valves, safety valves, orifice plates, Flow Meters etc.
• Detail engineering like P&ID, Layouts, Hook-ups, JB / Cables/ Air Header/ Tube schedules, MTO etc.
• Software-AutoCAD, MS excel, MS word
