Data visualization expert Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports to support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
Utilize various data visualization tools and techniques to present data in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all visualizations.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and automotive industry analytics.
Provide training and support to team members on data visualization tools and techniques.
Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights and present them to non-technical stakeholders.
Optimize visualizations for performance and usability.
Participate in data governance and quality assurance processes.
Contribute to the development of data visualization standards and guidelines
Technical Skills / Experience
ESSENTIALS
1. Proficiency in Data Visualization Tools : Expertise in tools such as Tableau, Power BI including knowledge of DAX expressions
2. Strong Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
3. Automotive Industry Knowledge : Understanding of automotive industry trends, metrics, and data sources.
4. Technical Proficiency : Experience with python, for data manipulation and analysis.
5. Experience with Big Data Technologies : Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, or similar technologies
6. Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data representation.
7. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
8. Problem-Solving Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities to address data-related challenges.
9. Creativity : Ability to create innovative and engaging visualizations.
10. Collaboration : Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
11. Project Management : Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
DESIRABLES
1. Knowledge of Machine Learning : Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in data visualization.
2. Experience in UX/UI Design : Skills in user experience and interface design to enhance visualization usability.
3. Certification in Data Visualization : Relevant certifications such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or Power BI Certification.
4. Experience with Cloud Platforms : Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and processing.
