Electronics Instrumentation Engineer/Manager

Role & responsibilities

The E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) Manager in the Steel Melting Shop (SMS) is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and optimization of electrical and instrumentation systems within the steelmaking process. This includes ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of electrical equipment, instrumentation, and control systems which are critical to the production.

In-depth knowledge of electrical power systems, distribution panels, transformers and associated control equipment.

Proficiency in Instrumentation Systems for process control, including temperature, pressure and flow measurement.

Expertise in PLCs. SCADA Systems, DCS and Automation technologies used in the steel Industry

Understanding of industry safety standards, electrical codes and instrumentation calibration techniques

Leadership Skills, Communication Skills.
