Chief Executive Officer

Role Summary:

The CEO will lead Markolines Pavement Technologies Ltd, driving its growth, managing operations, and building a high-performing team. The CEO will work as a profit centre and focus on strategic planning, business development, project execution along with stakeholder management, and ensuring the company's leadership in the Highway sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement the company's vision, mission, and long-term growth strategy.
• Identify new market opportunities and ensure sustainable growth.
• Align organizational goals with market trends and technological advancements.

2. Business Development:

• Drive expansion initiatives and build strategic partnerships.
• Lead business development efforts to secure contracts and projects across India.
• Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and events.

3. Project Management:

• Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery to meet quality and timelines.
• Maintain Client relationships & Meet their expectations & utmost satisfaction.
• Introduce best practices for project efficiency and resource optimization.

4. Financial Oversight:

• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability.

5. Team Management:

• Build and mentor a strong leadership team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee recruitment and talent development initiatives.

6. Operations Management:

• Ensure smooth operational workflows across all departments.
• Leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

7. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Cultivate relationships with clients, government bodies, and industry partners.
• Provide regular updates to the Board of Directors on strategic and operational progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory); a masters degree in business administration or related fields is preferred.
• Professional qualification like CEO Certification or CEO Program would be highly preferred
• Minimum 20-30 years of experience in the highway sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and driving business growth.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Result Areas (KRA):

1. Business:

• Achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Secure a YoY growth in project acquisitions and revenue.

2. Operational Excellence:

• Ensure timely and quality delivery of projects within budget.
• Optimize resource utilization to for cost savings.

3. Team Development:

• Build a second in line leadership pipeline

4. Client & Stakeholder Satisfaction:

• Achieve a minimum client satisfaction score of 90%.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

1. Percentage growth in annual revenue .

2. Cost Optimisation and growth in profitability.

3. Number of new projects acquired and their contribution to revenue.

4. Project completion rate within the planned budget and timeline.

5. Employee engagement and retention metrics.

6. Client satisfaction scores and feedback.

Compensation:
