MavenArk - Credit Analyst (5-10 yrs)

Mavenark Advisors is an emerging debt and equity focused Investment Bank. Its Asset Management arm, Mavenark Asset Managers is soon launching its maiden Performing Credit & Private Equity fund.

The role will work closely with the Investment Banking clients of Mavenark Advisors to analyse and place their credit requirements as well as provide the credit analysis for the AIF managed by Mavenark Asset Managers. Credit analysis to be performed based on the strength of the business, including the experience of its management team, any competitive advantages it has, its overall financial health, and prevailing industry and economic conditions that may influence loan repayment.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Analyse business financial statements and create cash flow models to be utilized in support of corporate/commercial loans, renewal requests, and amendments.

2. Ensure that certain financial statements and compliance certificates are up to date.

3. Aid in the preparation of Credit Evaluation Memos regarding creditworthiness of prospective borrowers and prepare ongoing annual reviews of existing borrowers

4. Prepare quarterly trend analysis with situation updates and risk rating evaluation on an ongoing quarterly basis for assigned borrowers

5. Research and document current policies relating to commercial credit risk and evaluate, draft, and recommend changes as needed to ensure that they continue to mitigate risk in the changing environment of the clients of the Investment Bank and the in-house AIF.

6. Doing the desktop research on any legal cases pending on the entity, the founders

7. Presenting the competitive landscape of the sector.

Experience

1. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in credit and/or financial analysis.

2. CA/CFA/MBA from a reputed institute.
