Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Marketing Manager to oversee and execute marketing strategies for our range of consumer durable products, including LEDs, Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Air Coolers, and Speakers. This key role will involve driving product marketing, market research, and digital campaigns, ensuring that our products remain competitive and align with consumer needs and industry trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer behavior, brand development, and product positioning in the consumer durables sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Marketing & Strategy:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for product categories including LED TVs, Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Air Coolers, and Speakers.
- Define product positioning, value propositions, and key differentiators for each product segment.
- Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, competitors, and market trends, and use insights to guide product development and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that products meet customer demands and are market ready.
Brand Management:
- Build and maintain a strong brand presence for our consumer durable products through strategic marketing campaigns.
- Oversee brand communication across all channels to ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity.
- Lead the development of marketing collateral, digital assets, and promotional materials to support sales teams and retail partners.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management:
- Develop and manage digital marketing strategies, including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and influencer collaborations.
- Create, track, and optimize performance of paid media campaigns on platforms such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Analyze data and consumer feedback to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Market Analysis & Competitive Benchmarking:
- Conduct in-depth competitor analysis to identify key trends, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics.
- Use insights from market analysis to adjust marketing strategies, product positioning, and promotional activities to maintain competitive advantage.
- Stay ahead of emerging consumer trends and ensure our products align with market demands.
Sales & Channel Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales targets and goals.
- Develop sales support materials and training for retail partners to help them effectively market and sell consumer durable products.
- Work with retail partners to implement in-store promotions, product displays, and other retail marketing initiatives.
Product Launches:
- Plan and execute the go-to-market strategy for new product launches, ensuring maximum visibility and awareness.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, R&D, etc.) to ensure successful product rollouts.
- Drive promotional campaigns and events to support new product introductions.
Customer Engagement & CRM:
- Engage with customers through various touchpoints to build brand loyalty and enhance the customer experience.
- Develop and implement customer loyalty programs, online community engagement, and post-purchase follow-up strategies.
- Use customer feedback to inform product improvements, marketing tactics, and service offerings.
Budget Management & Reporting:
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across different marketing activities.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on marketing performance for senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: At least 5–7 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the consumer durables industry (LEDs, Refrigerators, Washing Machines, etc.).
- Proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies, campaigns, and brand-building initiatives.
- Strong experience in digital marketing, market research, and customer insights.
