Infrastructure/Cloud Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust and scalable infrastructure solutions using AWS and Azure cloud platforms. with a focus on the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector or fintech industry.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, enhance productivity, and ensure consistent delivery.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring the infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and provide consultancy and guidance.
• Assess and endorse both existing and new technological infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry standards.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and Prometheus to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Utilize scripting languages such as Shell and Python for automation and optimization tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Cultivate a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
• Participate in presales activities, providing consultancy and guidance to potential clients.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture or similar roles.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including architecture, services, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments.
• Expertise in web servers (Apache Tomcat, Nginx, HTTPd) and various Linux distributions (RedHat, CentOS, Debian).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and Python.
• Knowledge of network architecture relevant to core banking, order management systems (OMS), risk management systems (RMS), and back office systems.
• Proven track record in strategizing, executing, managing, and modernizing data center and IT infrastructure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with data protection operations and adherence to compliance standards.

Skills:

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their services.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices and network architecture.

• Familiarity with cost management and optimization strategies in cloud environments.
