About the Founder & CEO:

Ahana Gautam is an experienced operator with a passion to build and grow the biggest consumer brands in India. She has a B.Tech from IIT Bombay and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She started her career at P&G where she worked across multiple functions - supply chain, finance and marketing. Ahana grew her passion for food brands at General Mills in the US where she launched natural and organic products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Owning Production for a multi-category plant in equivalent capacity as a Plant Head - across 2 shifts of operations at Bhandup, Mumbai.

2. Managing a team of 6-8 reportees including Production Managers (2), Production supervisors (4-6) and dotted reporting from other department Supervisors.

3. End-to-end production process ownership and systems ownership at Plant - owning the KPIs for productivity and production yield/losses.

4. Responsible for deployment of 5S & FIFO processes to ensure material handling as per best quality systems and processes.

5. Engineering/automation solutions for increasing productivity and production capacity of the lines.

6. Responsible for military discipline within the team of 100+ Contract labor across 2 shifts

7. Also responsible for process optimization at CM sites - soft touch on Productivity and Conversion cost KPIs there.

8. Coordination with Supply Chain team for ensuring smooth production and inventory visibility.

9. Coordination with Procurement team to ensure smooth material availability at all times.

10. Ensure all products are manufactured to meet Open Secret's quality standards and regulatory requirements.

11. Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies or methods that can improve efficiency or product quality.

12. Support the growth plans of company through effective capacity planning.

13. Identify the right contract manufacturers for new product launches

Job Knowledge, Skills Abilities:

- 10+ years of experience in FMCG/ Food Manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, and contract manufacturing.

- Knowledge of automation and process optimization is a plus.

- Job Location - Bhandup

- Salary - As per Industry standards

Educational background-

- Preferably engineering or MBA, open to other graduate streams as well. Bachelor's degree is a pre-requisite.
