Trainer

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions on GIS, Drone Survey, Remote Sensing, ArcGIS, QGIS, and related tools.
• Develop training materials, lesson plans, and assessments for students and professionals.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises for software applications like ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth, and Microstation.
• Guide and mentor students in GIS applications, spatial data analysis, and mapping techniques.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in GIS technology.
• Assist in evaluating trainees' progress and provide feedback for improvement.
• Collaborate with corporate and academic institutions to enhance training effectiveness.
• Ensure all training programs meet industry and organizational standards.
• Conduct workshops and seminars to promote GIS knowledge and best practices.
• Support the organization in research, development, and project-based GIS applications.

Preferred candidate profile

✔Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in GIS training or a related field
✔ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geoinformatics, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related domains
✔Strong knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth
✔ Excellent communication and presentation skills
✔ Passion for teaching and mentoring students
✔ Ability to simplify complex GIS concepts for learners
✔ Candidates willing to relocate to Salem, Dharmapuri, or Tiruvannamalai
