Manorama Industries - Senior Cost Accountant (7-10 yrs)

- We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our team at Manorama Industries Limited in Raipur.

- This role requires 7-10 years of experience in cost accounting and will involve critical cost analysis, financial reporting, and cost control responsibilities.

- You will play a vital role in supporting our operations within the Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement cost standards for materials and labor to ensure accurate financial tracking.

- Conduct comprehensive recovery analysis for products and monitor process costing within the plant.

- Determine standard costs and compare them with actual costs, analyzing and addressing variances as needed.

- Provide regular costing reports to senior management, including monthly/quarterly updates.

- Reconcile raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods stock, ensuring accuracy in inventory management.

- Perform variance analysis to explain differences between planned and actual financial performance.

- Guide and mentor the costing team, coordinating activities and answering queries to streamline processes.

- Prepare monthly costing reports, MIS reports, and yield reports for management review.

- Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period.

- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on financial data.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven expertise in cost analysis (Mandatory skill).

- Strong capabilities in financial reporting (Mandatory skill).

- Advanced proficiency in cost control techniques (Mandatory skill).

- Experience with budgeting processes, including preparation and monitoring.

- Expertise in variance analysis to identify differences between financial plans and actual results.

- Strong skills in inventory management to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.

- Ability to forecast financial trends and provide strategic recommendations.

- Experience working with ERP systems to improve financial reporting and operations
