Role: Assistant Vice President Taxation.

Overview : Lead Direct and Indirect Tax functions, ensure compliance, enhance productivity, and drive process automation.

- This is an independent role, responsible for setting up the tax strategy and governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:.

- Oversee timely settlement of TDS, PT, and GSTR filings to avoid litigation.

- Coordinate with consultants on tax notices (Income Tax, GST).

- Manage Tax Audits, Transfer Pricing, GST Audits, ITR filings.

- Guide the team on BAU tasks and ensure timely task closure.

- Handle monthly TDS reconciliation, GST credit, and queries.

- Engage with senior management on tax litigation/assessments.

- Review and reconcile balance sheet schedules (TDS, GST).

- Develop and implement a robust tax strategy and governance framework.

- Foster team growth and development.

- Team Size: 5 6 members.

- Requirements: Chartered accountant with 8-10 years of experience, preferably in health or general insurance.

- We are looking for someone with a proactive approach who stays updated on new tax provisions and amendments and has a passion for streamlining processes through automation.
