QC Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough software testing, Analyse data, write test cases and communicate with developers.
• Follow established guidelines and best practices for software testing.
• Communicate the results of software testing efforts to stakeholders and suggest areas of improvement.
• Testing software for security vulnerabilities and providing input on improving the company's product solutions and should be following the guidelines of ISO 27001:2005 for information security during the tenure with Manipal Business Solutions

Skills Required

• Knowledge of computer architecture and tools for manual & auto testing, unit testing, integration testing, functional testing and bug-tracking systems like JIRA.
• Demonstrated success in software development lifecycle management (SDLC).
• Experience in working with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Script writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical soundness, data analysis acumen and troubleshooting & programming capabilities.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Technical/Functional Proficiency Required

• In-depth knowledge of testing best practices and techniques.
• Experience in requirement analysis, and in writing Test Plans and Test Case Specifications.
• Ability to work independently and a quick learner.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the bug life cycle.
• Expertise in developing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience in reviewing test plans and test cases prepared by team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Experience in generating various test logs and matrices.
• Proficiency in database testing using SQL Server, with the ability to write and execute complex SQL queries.
• Experience with Script writing for test automation tools like Selenium and Appium is a plus.

Educational Qualifications

• Position requires a BE/MCA (or equivalent) from a premier institute.
• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and team handling, specifically in Microsoft Technologies.
• Experience in the BFSI domain is a significant plus.
