Executive Director - Data Platform & Data Engineering - Bank (18-25 yrs)

Chief Data and Analytics Office is responsible for company's key analytics capabilities and work to create world-leading capabilities for analytics, information management and decisioning. We work across the AWS (EMR, S3, Glue, Redshift, Datazone etc.) Teradata Group Data Warehouse, Hadoop Big Data Platform and Ab Initio technology spaces.

You are a well-rounded leader with natural strengths in driving squads within the Crew you lead. As the leader- Crew Lead within Data Platforms and Operations you will be responsible for leading and strategically developing the data platforms capabilities whilst maintaining and modernizing to keep the group safe.

Functional line reporting into the Data Products and Operation Lead Sydney

You will be responsible for a significant direct/indirect team.

Your Key Stakeholders:

- CDAO LT

- CDAO Crew Leads and Chapter Area Leads

- Data, Analytics and AI practitioners

- Product Owners

- External vendors

- Other Technology teams

- Data Engineers across the Group

Your responsibilities:

As a Executive you will collaborate with the Product Owners to inspire and drive the delivery of the domains strategic goals to maximize customer outcomes.

Your Skills and experience :

We are driving a strategy of creating a best-in-class cloud data platform. We use a broad range of innovative tools and services to enable the data processing and access requirements of the company group with a key goal of enabling the utilization of GenAI and other advanced data techniques across the business.

- At least 15 years' experience delivering large and complex programs of work in large teams (150+) with multiple stakeholders

- Experience working in a platform engineering environment utilizing AWS service (EMR, Redshift, Glue amongst others)

- Experience managing and implementing large scale self-service enterprise data platforms.

- Expert at delivering in scaled agile environment.

- Migration of large-scale systems expertise

- Adept at engaging with business and technical communities to champion transformational technology change.
