Purchase Executive

Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sourcing & Procurement Executive to manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, vendor management, and timely procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, supplier relationship management experience, and the ability to optimize procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors for required goods and services.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost savings and quality compliance.
• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and continuously assess supplier performance.

2. Procurement & Purchase Management

• Process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and ensure efficient supply chain management.
• Track order status, deliveries, and resolve any supply-related issues.

3. Cost Optimization & Negotiation

• Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for reducing procurement expenses.
• Benchmark pricing across suppliers to ensure competitive rates without compromising quality.

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure procurement processes align with company policies, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements.

5. Inventory & Demand Planning

• Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory.
• Forecast procurement needs based on demand trends and business requirements.
