Manager - D2C Business

Role and Responsibilities

As a Manager - D2C Channel, you will be responsible for driving corporate sales of general insurance products through the Direct-to-Customer channel. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing corporate sales and engaging with clients to promote and sell general insurance products.
• Maintaining and nurturing leads by engaging with clients, collecting necessary details, and closing business opportunities.
• Understanding clients business profiles to provide customized insurance solutions.
• Advising clients on the right insurance coverage across multiple product lines, including:
• Group Health Insurance
• Group Personal Accident Insurance
• Employee Compensation Insurance
• Marine Insurance
• Liability Insurance
• Fire and Burglary Insurance
• Negotiating with clients on pricing and benefits to close deals effectively.
• Addressing and resolving client queries while providing the best possible solutions.
• Managing post-sales servicing and retention efforts, including:
• Handling monthly endorsements.
• Assisting clients with claims and policy servicing.
• Building strong client relationships to foster long-term engagement.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance sales role, preferably in Agency/Broking channels.
• Proven experience in handling clients directly.
• Experience in Commercial Lines/SME Insurance is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and the local language (knowledge of additional languages is a bonus).
• Proficiency in understanding client requirements and offering tailored insurance solutions.
• Negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and sustain client relationships.
• This role may involve occasional travel to meet prospective clients and close business opportunities.
