Job Description
- Understanding of Licensing Business
- Broad understanding of agreement drafts from a legal point of view
- Understanding of product/content marketing
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Should be a self-starter with industry network both in India & International markets
- Entrepreneurial attitude
- Attitude towards business development is a must
- Should be a team player with ability to work with cross functional teams including Legal, Programming, Marketing, Web, Data etc. as well as external agencies
- Identify potential business partners across the regions, collaborate to increase licensing revenue and increase the presence of SPN content
- Manage existing business and create new opportunities with partners including Broadcasters, Networks, Aggregators, Distributors etc
- Drive new models of business considering the ever-changing dynamic nature of the industry
- Identify means to augment existing deals and refresh deals which are nearing completion
- Devise strategies to optimize library content as well as on-air/recently concluded content
- Identify gaps in the Syndication ecosystem and take active measures to fill them to increase presence and sales
- Explore opportunities to leverage Digital rights in addition to Linear rights
- Design a comprehensive, time-bound communication plan for SPN content and other tactical activities
- Lead marketing communication across all platforms- Website, Emailers, Exhibitions, Merchandise, 3rd party marketplaces etc
- Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to create customized content collaterals
- Daily reporting to ensure actual business performance and forecasting
- Monthly, Quarterly, Half-yearly and annual plans and weekly tracking for compliance to reduce deviation
