Manager - College Partnership:

Roles & Responsibility: - 1. Partnership Alliance

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of the market, competition, and consumer trends to identify opportunities and challenges within the category.
  • Category Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and market share for the category.

2. Product Management

  • Product Selection: Decide on the product mix within the category, including identifying new products and phasing out underperforming ones.
  • Pricing Strategy: Set competitive pricing strategies to maximize profit margins while remaining attractive to customers.
  • Product Development: Work with product development teams to introduce new products that meet market demand.

3. Supplier Relationship Management

  • Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to ensure the best deals for the company.
  • Supplier Performance: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Partnership Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to secure exclusive deals or better terms.

4. Sales and Marketing Collaboration

  • Promotional Planning: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns to boost category sales.
  • Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to align category strategies with overall business goals.

5. Financial Management

  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage the category budget, including forecasting sales, profits, and expenses.
  • Profitability Analysis: Regularly review category performance against financial targets and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within the category.

6. Customer Insights and Experience

  • Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand preferences and pain points within the category.
  • Experience Enhancement: Work on improving the customer experience for the category, whether online, in-store, or through other channels.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on consumer behavior and trends to anticipate changes and adjust strategies proactively.
