Job Description:

- We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead our SEO strategy and improve the visibility of our business online.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving organic search growth and will be responsible for formulating and executing effective SEO strategies to enhance our website's search rankings.

Roles and Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy Development:

- Formulate and implement SEO strategies aimed at improving site visibility and organic search rankings.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, coach, and mentor the SEO team, ensuring they have a clear vision and objectives to achieve success.

Planning and Organization:

- Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills, setting targets, prioritizing tasks, and making informed decisions.

SOW Writing and Validation:

- Write and validate SEO Statements of Work (SOWs) and scoping documents to outline project expectations and deliverables.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, content writers, and agencies, to align SEO efforts with overall business objectives.

Data Analysis:

- Collect and analyze data, conduct experiments, and identify trends and insights to maximize organic impact.

Auditing and Issue Resolution:

- Perform SEO audits, identify issues, and experiment with scalable solutions to enhance SEO performance.

Hyper-local Growth:

- Drive hyper-local growth and optimize business listings in Google My Business (GMB) to increase visibility in local SEO.

Reporting:

- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects to track progress and performance.

Growth Traffic:

- Maintain a proven track record of delivering high-growth traffic for businesses operating at scale.

Troubleshooting:

- Act as an experienced troubleshooter, utilizing relevant diagnostic tools to resolve SEO challenges.

Technical Skills:

- Leverage engineering knowledge with strong HTML, JavaScript, and MS Excel skills.

Required Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- 7 to 10 years of hands-on SEO experience, particularly focused on desktop SEO.

Content Management Systems:

- Proficiency with web content management platforms such as Drupal and WordPress.

Website Development Knowledge:

- Understanding of website development techniques, consumer journeys, and conversion optimization is preferred.

Organizational Skills:

- Proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing time effectively under tight deadlines.
