Job Description
- Lead, facilitate, and participate in key Scrum practices and teams across multiple work streams
- Take the lead in transitioning engineering into a more agile organization
- Ensure the framework is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theories, practices, and guidelines and help the team achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity
- Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement through the scrum process
- Ensure the team is focused on the right tasks and help remove any obstacles
- Build squads and chapters across the engineering organization
- Facilitate collaboration with product teams with the goal of creating a well-prioritized backlog with workable stories
- Manage project dependencies between engineering teams and communicate the project status throughout the project lifecycle to key stakeholders
- Share sprint metrics (e.g. velocity, burndown charts, etc.) with stakeholders
- At least 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master for software development in the technology industry
- 8+ years experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager
- At least 5 years of experience working with multiple functional domain teams including Developers, QA Business Analysts
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and Agile frameworks
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple simultaneous initiatives and achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
- Effective planning and problem solving with product management and software development teams
- Bachelor s Degree or higher
- Scrum Master Certified (preferred)
