Sr PMO Analyst

Role & responsibilities :

Responsibilities of a Senior PMO Analyst include but not limited to:

• Develop and maintain project governance frameworks, standards, and procedures.
• Lead the implementation of project governance best practices and ensure compliance across projects.
• Provide guidance and support to project managers on project governance, financial management, risk management, and project controls.
• Review the project schedule and coach the project managers to adapt the best practice.
• Conduct phase gate, health check and audit to ensure compliance with the approved PM methodology, processes, and templates.
• Manage the Risk Management process in PPM and coach the project manager for risk assessment.
• Monitor project performance against established governance, financial, and risk metrics.
• Prepare Project Status Report in collision with Project Managers and ensure that the project data is accurate in PPM.
• Prepare and analyze project financial reports, including budget variance analysis, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project controls are in place and project milestones are achieved.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project governance, financial performance, and risk management.
• Communicate and follow up with the respective stakeholders for the assigned tasks

Preferred candidate profile :

5+ years of experience in project governance, financial management, risk management, project controls, and phase gate reviews, preferably within a EPMO environment.

• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Clarity).
• Experience in developing project management methodology, processes, and templates.
• PMP or other project management certifications are required. Additional certifications in risk management or financial management are a plus.
