About the Function

myPartner is a new strategic business unit of MakeMyTrip Group launched in 2020 that aims to provide seamless, reliable, real-time inventory and price of different travel products, such as domestic and international hotels, flights, and holiday packages, to travel agent partners across the country. In a short span, the business has scaled up to have more than forty thousand (41k) travel agent partners active on its platform. Being a new business, we are continuously building innovative solutions to meet the dynamic needs of our travel agent partners and to help them grow their travel businesses.

About the Role

As part of myPartner Online Revenue team, you will be a part of the whipsmart team responsible for handling revenue, driving growth, and increasing profitability. You will showcase our values of consumer focus, commitment to results, and continuous improvement through innovative solutions that raise challenging questions and demand creative and practical answers.

The ideal candidate for the role is an independent, self-starter, quick-witted, entrepreneurial, and intellectually curious individual. This person must excel at cross-functional collaboration, combine creativity with organisational skills, manage deliverables to tight deadlines, and have the ability to deliver high-quality work under time constraints.

What will you be doing

P&L Management & Driving Growth

- Defining and driving the short-term and long-term growth agenda of the business while influencing various cross-functional teams.

- Managing the business P&L and devising strategies to achieve revenue goals

- Tactically managing active revenue levers to achieve daily margin, conversion, and transaction goals.

- Leading discussions on relevant alliances and execute tactical marketing campaigns.

- Tracking performance parameters and keep tight control over business KPI numbers.

- Deep diving into competitor pricing data and use signals to improve category pricing.

- Deep diving into demand signals and traffic data to decipher business and marketing strategy.

- Collaborating with marketing team to devise and execute customer engagement strategies and campaigns.

- Understanding new markets and segments-the trends and customer behaviour and work with marketing, supply, and product to maximise conversion based on those trends.

- Following a stringent action plan and collaborating with the product team to increase platform conversion for the hotel category.

- Working with product teams to automate or improve pricing, business reporting, and alerting mechanisms.

- Collaborating with the operations team to devise and ensure smooth post-sale processes.

Data Analytics

- Creating and maintaining rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources

- Proactively analysing data using statistical methods to answer key questions from stakeholders or self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.

Qualification & Experience

MBA from a reputed institute with 2-4 years of experience in business/ revenue/ category role for a consumer facing, technology enabled business in the e-commerce industry.
