Job Summary:
The roleholder is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance and availability of equipment. This role is crucial in enhancing equipment performance, minimizing downtime, managing spare parts efficiently, adhering to budget constraints, managing supplier relationships, and securing the OT (Operational Technology) Cyber Security function. The Maintenance Manager will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure that maintenance activities support the overall operational goals of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and efficiency of all plant equipment.
- Schedule and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure that maintenance tasks are completed on time and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Equipment Availability:
- Enhance equipment performance and minimize downtime through effective maintenance strategies.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and implement improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
Efficient Spare Part Management:
- Manage the inventory of spare parts to ensure availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality spare parts.
- Implement inventory control systems to track and manage spare parts usage.
Budget Adherence:
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Monitor maintenance expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Prepare and present budget reports to senior management.
Supplier Management:
- Manage relationships with maintenance service providers and equipment suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
OT Cyber Security Management:
- Manage and secure the OT Cyber Security function to protect critical infrastructure and systems.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols and best practices for OT environments.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment of cybersecurity strategies and policies.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in maintenance planning, equipment management, supplier management, and cybersecurity.
Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Strong understanding of budget management and cost control.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of OT cybersecurity protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
