Instrumentation Maintenance Executive

Role & responsibilities :

• Instrumentation Design & Installation:
• Participate in the design and selection of instrumentation equipment (sensors, transmitters, controllers, etc.) for new projects and upgrades.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems.
• Ensure proper installation and wiring of instruments according to industry standards and safety regulations.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation problems, including sensor failures, control loop issues, and data acquisition problems.
• Implement corrective and preventive maintenance actions to minimize equipment downtime.
• Data Acquisition & Analysis:
• Collect and analyze instrumentation data to identify trends, diagnose problems, and improve process efficiency.
• Develop and maintain instrumentation databases and reports.
• Project Support:
• Provide technical support for instrumentation-related projects, including upgrades, modifications, and new installations.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure successful project implementation.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all instrumentation activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in instrumentation engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation principles and practices.
• Experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and control loop tuning.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
