Maintenance Engineer/Sr. Engineer | Kishangarh

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the regular preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and machinery used in solar module manufacturing (e.g., laminators, testers, ovens, solar cell stringers, etc.).
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of spare parts and materials required for equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure that machinery downtime is minimized and that production targets are met without compromising on quality.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacements, in the companys maintenance management system.
• Support and assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the engineering and production teams to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and other team members as needed.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, plan maintenance schedules, and predict future maintenance needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance engineering in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in solar module manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as PLCs, automation, and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with solar panel production machinery and equipment.
• Familiarity with the latest industry standards and regulations related to solar energy production and manufacturing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices, especially in the context of industrial equipment.
