Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in machinery.
• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance tasks as per established schedules.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and address machinery-related issues that affect output.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and replacement of parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all maintenance activities.
• Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical , Instrumentation, Production Engineering

Proven experience in equipment maintenance within the food production or related industries.

Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.

Familiarity with electrical systems and PLC programming is an advantage.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively troubleshoot equipment issues.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Strong communication skills to facilitate coordination with operations and production teams.
