Technical Project Manager - Networking

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and execute complex technical projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Linux systems, virtualization technologies, and networking protocols.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions.

- Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Technical Expertise :

- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems and VMware virtualization technologies.

- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP protocols, and networking concepts.

- Experience in deploying and managing products in Linux environments.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to Linux, VMware, and network infrastructure.

- Hands-on experience with hardware components, including EMC VNX, Unity Storage, HP Blade Servers, HP C7000 enclosures, Brocade SAN switches, VC Flex, and HP switches.

Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support.

- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

- Motivate team members to achieve project goals.

Communication and Stakeholder Management :

- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

- Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

- Present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- RHCSA or RHCE certification.

- Proven experience in technical project management, preferably in the IT infrastructure domain.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
