Job Description
Responsibilities Key Deliverables
As an AM/DM Transmission Process Engineering at Mahindra Mahindra Ltd within the Manufacturing (Mfg) division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the transmission department. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Leading process improvement initiatives to enhance assembly and testing procedures
- Driving customer delight by ensuring the highest quality standards in transmission processes
- Managing stakeholders effectively to align transmission processes with overall business objectives
- Overseeing employee management and skill development in the transmission department
- Promoting innovation and shop floor management best practices

Education Qualification
To excel in this role, you would ideally have a Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, or a Bachelors degree in Technology with a focus on Mechanical or Automobile engineering. In addition to your formal education, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Proven experience in transmission process engineering for 3-10 years, depending on your educational background
- Familiarity with quality management systems such as TS 16949 and ISO 14001
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSAS) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
General Experience
The ideal candidate for this position would demonstrate a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership skills. Key experiences that would benefit you in this role include:
- Hands-on experience in assembly and testing processes within the manufacturing industry
- Proven track record of driving production efficiency and process development
- Prior experience in stakeholder management and building a customer-centric work culture
